The best day out for flower lovers is a day trip to the Keukenhof. Visit the Keukenhof in Lisse for living scents and spring colours, fresh tulips, amaryllises, crocuses and much more in the world’s largest flower park, in Lisse. Every year in the spring, the Keukenhof transforms into a colorful sea of flowers, making it the perfect day trip.

Zaanse Schans Windmill
The windmill village of Zaanse Schans is an open-air museum where you will find a collection of working windmills, wooden houses, barns and shops dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. All these buildings were brought here from 1961 to bring the most prosperous period of the Zaanse region back to life.

Wooden Shoe Workshop a visit to the clog museum and clog maker’s shop, where you can see traditional craftsmen at work making clogs and other objects.

Departure to the Zaanse Schans

Upon arrival, we will ask you for a group photo moment and then guide you to:
The clog demonstration in the clog factory, where the famous sneakers of the Golden Age are still made.
You should certainly not miss our guidance to the cheese demonstration. There are different flavors and types of cheese that you can taste and also purchase for home.

You are then free to explore the other mills on the ramp. Stroll past the bakery museum and enjoy the smell of fresh cakes, or take a step into the past and take a look inside the tin foundry where wooden barrels are made for storing and transporting spices, flour, oils and water. Also look at the other windmills on the dike.

11.30 Departure to the Keukenhof
Packed lunches are distributed on the bus, coffee and tea are offered.

12.45 Arrival Keukenhof
After a short drive from the Zaanse Schans to the flower bulb area around Lisse, we ask for a group photo moment upon arrival and you are then free to admire this park with its colorful flower bulb carpets.
